It's a pretty good movie, gorgeous visuals aside.
>kaiba wanted to be the one to send atem to the afterlife, both because he wants to be the best duelist, and because he feels like owes it to him (atem made seto the pharaoh after sealing zorc)
>kaiba stops being a heckin' based atheist, which lets him call upon the one egyptian god that serves the pharaoh
>yugi demonstrates that he will grow to be even stronger than atem
>kaiba finally shows yugi some respect after he gets meme'd on with the exact same play atem did (negating monster reborn)
>kaiba somehow manages to either travel back in time or travel to the fucking egyptian afterlife to duel atem one last time, regardless of his fate and outcome of the duel
It's a shame sera technically the last takahashi "heroine", and the mad lad managed two sneak two of his fetishes into her design: loli and dark skinned women didn't get a lot of screentime, she just appears before yugi to give him a piece of the puzzle, and then near the end to cry after her brother gets btfo.

Yes, but TRANSCEND GAME made a big deal out of her, you'd think she'd have a lot more screentime in the movie, but nope, her brother gets the spotlight instead.
