unfortunately this is for my own engine so i need some kind of external tool. I played around a bit with Gaia but it seems to mostly be procedural instead of hand sculpting, maybe im wrong though. Also non-free

Do you mean the sculpting tools or am I missing something? pic related, im able to get a somewhat okay result using the sculpting tab.
