the heavy magic focus of kislev in total war doesn't translate onto the tabletop

total war has little spikes made of ice in the barding of some units and ice blades
on miniatures, you can paint them metallic instead of icy

total war has magical ice underneath the sleds because the sleds had to be playable on all sorts of terrain
on tabletop you just base the kislev mini on a snowy base and ignore the magical snow

total war has shit like the forst wyrm and random spiders and bats and things in the wood to pad out the roster, the tabletop version is not going to have them

really, the only three problems with kislev will be wasting a kit on the ice guards, wasting a kit on the elemental bear, and not having proper ungols, because fuck having good historical references and fantasy politics
