I think paid mods aren't a bad idea anymore. It gives modders incentive to group up and create a great experience beyond expectations. I mean the entire counter strike series was just mods of half life. Of course there still should still be free mods though if the modders just wanna put out free shit. And there will be shitty paid mods out there too like with everything.

But I'm also maybe being too optimistic about mods.
