It breaks my heart bro. Somehow the high art of this game should've attracted life denying buddhists and schizo tech accelerationists and mindbroken psychonauts. It deals with the core problem of life and death repeating in a precise and beautiful way. When I finished the game and went online to see what people thought about the world and the art I was stunned to realise that the "community" was comprised of tens of thousands of uWu-core animal fuckers making cooing noises over their "slugcat" designs and harping over various soulless mechanical challenges, completely, completely missing the point of the game. I can't even imagine how the creators must feel, watching these SSRI poisoned ghouls rip apart their creation and build plushie toys out of it. It's literally the best game ever made, if you can call it it.
