I just had a horrible nightmare that had no connection to absolutely anything I did yesterday or in the past week, which I have never had in years, or if I have been having them I've been forgetting them. I have been having trouble sleeping with feelings of dread every night and if I have been having these types of dreams it'd explain why. I haven't been able to remember dreams for some time now and this is the first one that I could after a few weeks of SR.
The first half of the dream was framed as some sort of prologue to a Fallout game where you had to get supplies to a fallout shelter before the nukes dropped, but it was a foregone conclusion that you wouldn't be able to get the supplies to be able to meet the objectives before it happened, so you had to rush back to the shelter while the armageddon was starting and fighting off the authorities like the end of that one Farcry game. Once you got back though it was only matter of time to again gather supplies before you'd be visited by raiders in power armor and you had to get the hell out of there if you wanted to survive. Then it transitioned to like a DLC in a more urban area instead of a rural one, and the shelter was in a stadium, and the same scenario applied but I didn't take it seriously so I half-assed the resource collection and got back in time to be massacred. I hid in some random room while the NPCs gave the standard dialogue and just waited for the inevitable death but it was a glitched area so I just stayed there while my stats drained and nothing happened, and then that half of the dream ended. The most unrealistic part was that the game didn't crash while having photorealistic graphics.
