as a veteran and not a retarded poser like most worldbabs, i think the difficulty is in a good spot right now considering the absolute garbage foundation they had to work with but it feels less and less like MH and more like a really basic MMO, the knowledge checks are too condensed now because the response with any weapon to successful maneuvering is "use your strongest move immediately" because focus mode ensures you never miss and the reward is usually big enough to offset any potential risk involved if you're actually using evade window or defense boost/divine blessing and of course the seikret can get you out of trouble in 0.01 seconds unless it happened to be standing in a weird position because its AI is dogshit unlike how the dog in Rise immediately follows the direction you want since it magically burrows through the ground.

Anyone who says the game is too hard now is either a geriatric or someone who hates having to engage in the videogame, but good news! The rest of the game was made just for you, and that's also exactly how the game has ended up in the sorry state that it's in now.
