I kind of feel you would be stuck to just short games like rouge likes or multiplayer games since you'd never be able to play an RPG since all your progress would reset the next "day"
Then again I think multipayer might become predictable too since you'd be fighting the same players every"day" too.
I think gaming would get boring fast in a groundhog day scenario.
