Would you really be in favor of releasing the Epstein files even if it meant collapsing the government of several countries, potential civil unrest and hundreds of thousands of people losing their livehoods?
Every prominent western world leader is on that list. If the truth ever were to come out it would cause the collapse of western civilization. Governments depend on the trust of those whome they govern. If you eliminate that trust, then the result is chaos and anarchy. There is far too much at stake here to make it worth it.
