I feel bad for Susie. She just wants a friend to be real with her. She doesn't want some performative friend and she doesn't want someone to hide stuff from her. But what she has is exactly those things.

Kris is a dirty triple trucie with the Knight and he's hiding pretty much all of his problems from Susie.
Ralsei refuses to be open and honest with Susie, he loves hiding shit no matter how many times she tells him not to, and he always tries to act like what he thinks Kris and Susie would want him to be, even when he's trying to "be himself," "himself" is is still entirely dependent on Kris and Susie. Also he isn't real.
And then there's Noelle, who will lie to Susie and to herself about everything that matters to her and completely disregard them to just focus on Susie, including Kris, because she has an extremely unhealthy fixation with Susie and she falsely believes that's what she would want. Noelle isn't ready to be Susie's friend, let alone anything more.
