You made me check and well... I don't know about that. Do you get upgrades that make the movement faster/more interesting in under 5 hours if you know where you're going or something? That was my first complaint about the game: You move slow and jump like a Flash game character. My second complaint is that the knight is a dinky little character, not cool to play as at all. Hornet looks cooler and seems to actually move with grace and deft, which is a must for me in a Metroidvania. I know you unlock the double jump at some point but I must have not gotten very far in the map. The nail bouncing is interesting I guess, but not enough for me. The map and the way you unlock parts of it plus the way you save on benches was also shitty. I have seen the entire map posted on here before and I wasn't really impressed. It's not that it was too big to explore but it just didn't really have interesting connections, locales just seem placed in haphazard spots. Im hoping since Silksong is a "work your way to the top" game like Dread it'll have more cohesive map design.

Trust me, I don't want to shit on this game like the /v/ contrarians, I just struggle to play it and go "Oh! I get the hype now.". It seemed average in all respects and wasn't doing anything earthshattering as a Metroidvania besides the boss fights I guess.
