The thing is shit IS happening. Credit card companies are censoring the internet as we speak and sites are starting to require photo IDs so they have their foot firmly in the door. We are on our way to the worst case scenario and people are much less aware since they are doing it quietly this time instead of trying to pass a big unpopular bill. We aren't completely fucked yet but we may be in a few years.
