Well I'll give you some info in case you do decide to go through with it
Sillytavern is just a front end, it's the main thing you'll be interacting with. Just download that, you can just Google it and the github page will be there, really simple set up so don't worry
For deepseek, the actual ai model, go to the site open router, make a account, then it's as simple as going to the deepseek v3 model and getting a api key(it's just a code it'll generate for you and you only). You'll have to put money on the account, but deepseek is very cheap alongside being really good, so something like 10 dollars will last you a long time
Then you go into sillytavern, click API, set to text completion, then click API type, set to Openrouter, put in your API key, select the openrouter deepseek v3 model, hit connect and boom. All good to go
For the actual character cards you can go to chub.ai or go to the general on /g/, they have the main card databases linked. You just download them and import them into sillytavern on the character page.
