Steam friends are so fucking useless. You add someone you played a game with and had fun with only to never fucking talk to that guy or play with him ever again. And if you try to initate something then its a gamble. A 90% gamble of you losing that "friend" because the hidden rule about steam friends is that you're not friends and that you're actually collecting eachother on the friends list. I have nearly a hundred "friends" on steam added from random game sessions and not a single one of them has ever initiated conversation after said initial game session. If i were to contact all those people i would either get removed or ignored and i would be faced with the fact that these people are not my friends.
