That or it's decently automated, it's future tech with functional AI after all
They are also fixing up the suit during the actual show, too, so presumably Terry can pick up a thing or two and has some input about the suit as it progresses, like with the camouflage option early on

If Max just stays as the Oracle equivalent I'm sure they'd eventually give Terry his own Lucius Fox (there was that Armory guy he fought and sent to jail, maybe he can be redeemed and help out)
