So whose going to sign Munetaka Murakami? His NPB contract ends after this season and he's going to be posted this offseason. He seems like a great hitter who does well across all pitch speeds, so he should be able to adapt to the high MLB velo.

I feel like the Dodgers are the most likely contenders here. Muncy's going to be 35 going into the next season, so bringing in Murakami as a successor seems like a no brainer for 3B. The only thing is that second base seems super crowded once you shift Freeland, with HSK/Edman, unless they plan on trading Freeland or sending him back down. I can't see the Dodgers letting Muncy walk given how absurdly club friendly that option is and how good he is still is.
