The crux of this issue is less the wheelchair (which is egregious) but more the idea that the people making it are not putting any thought into it or simply don’t care about the setting, its rules, or all of the shit that exists in it. Like imagine you have a world where you have magic and other miraculous shit and the first thing that people think of is to just put a character that is crippled in a neon wheelchair. I mean you could have prosthetics, healing spell, a fucking little horse to ride on. Why a wheel chair? Same goes for other shit as well.
