It really is though. Reaper crest does extra knockback that pushes bugs into spikes and off ledges. It also has the best aerial moveset in the game for getting hits where faster attack speed doesn't matter.

It even takes advantage of bugs with overhead attacks that can't even reach you at peak pogo range, which they will never stop spamming due to poor ai.
