Just came off a game. Basically lost at mission + deployment selection but didn't realize it until first turn - my list was 3 big blobs of castellax, a thanatar calix, and 2 squads of gal vorbak with delegatus, and we were playing heart of battle so half my list was useless because i couldnt see through all the big ruins and so once he stalled my gal vorbak with his suzerain + locutarus squads and jumped tacs on the central objective the game was basically over lol. Definitely think bringing at least thanatar cavas or karacnos is going to be crucial for mech to deal with the limited lines of sight...but on the other hand it was really funny when we realized mech characters are immune to challenges in an Automata unit, not that it helped since the 2 castellax + magos still got one turned by suzerain thunder hammers lol. Gal vorbak are definitely disappointing on their own, but I think with some support to deal with the 2+ save squads they'll do decent
