I have huge OCD about anime staff worrying about loud minorities of online whiners (changing the upside-down crosses on Garterbelt's design of all things seemed like a bad sign) but it probably would be a stretch to think they're so insane as to believe incest would be "going too far" while "this character shown in detailed strip show sequences was 15 all along and only now turned 16" is not.
But I also highly doubt most of the people complaining about incest or Kneesocks' age on social media count as "normalfags".
