From what I can see, marriage for women is like winning the lottery. I can't fault women for wanting financial security! It's a reasonable expectation. But what I also see is that marriage can be like a prison for men, where they are expected to provide a certain living standard (at the expense of their time, health, and well-being) which, on the face of it is reasonable, but the problem is the ever changing demands of women. Females can start to act funny when married and change their wants and desires on a whim. Expectations of women change when a man meets all their expectations. I will never understand the female mind and don't want to be troubled with any attempts to do so. Women are an erratic force of nature that must be controlled to some extent.
