No, really, this makes things much better.
This is why i prefer nowdays to play Broken Dreams Correctional Center and The Debasing Grounds despite not being as well written as TiTs or CoC.
Anything you don't like can be avoided or customized into being into your liking, and the devs don't really have their heads in their asses.
