It's unsustainable because of immigration. Those coming into Europe drain significant resources from the government programs (besides the fact that they commit crimes at a higher rate). Not only do they take a bunch from the housing assistance, they take the literal homes, making it nearly impossible for young Europeans to start a family early. The governments are openly against their own Native European citizens.
