Shit took my usual friend trio three attempts to finally learn and beat, but it doesn't seem too impossible as long as you don't get awful curse rng or constant subterranean beamspam while dealing with his summons
Everdark relics need an immediate buff howeverbeit, so far they've all been extreme disappointments as rewards compared to their originals let alone lucky normal relics that impossibly mog them.

It's a pretty easy 50-60hours just clearing the character stories and beating all the bosses. Randoms are (generally) pretty good in Nightreign though, so you can eek a lot more fun out of it doing pub trios. I'm at 100hr in and could easily put another 100 in if I wasn't distracted with other fotm with friends
