I recently did her campaign story, and yeah it's pretty cute.
Basically, Chiyono is a goody two-shoes who doesn't give up on her dreams to be like a derby uma like Maruzensky (who is depressed and retired herself from the racing world in this story). She also motivates her friend/roommate Mejiro Ardan, who is afflicted with a frail body and "glass legs", to not give up either. Both characters return the favor when Chiyono is having a crisis identity in the second half of her story, over learning the fact that all athletes inevitably suffer this slope where their abilities degrade after reaching the peak. She's decently smart too, keeping a lot of notes in her memo.

Also, she tends to look like a dog rather than a horse.
