It's the 8-4 interpretation. She talks a big game about family and saving adepts, behaving like a little girl guided by love and religious revelation, but when GV/Copen meets her in face to face, she's much more mature, bitchy, and flippant. Her language shifts from kind pure maiden to sadistically quippy. She oozes with slimy condescension, acting chummy with Gunvolt and treating him like a child as she details how she's going to kill Joule and Mytyl. She's basically a bully, and nobody likes bullies. She callously blows off her family's sacrifice, and is just a very unlikable person.

It's subtle and actually good characterization for a villain, but 8-4 are translators, not re-interpretors. I think 8-4 wanted to imply she was an lolibaba type or adult faking at being a kid, because the final fight is messed up in the Jap version. They also removed every reference of her age from the script (some of the Jap dialogue and blurbs mention she's a child), in additon to ommitting all the times GV says he will not give his enemies mercy, even if they surrender, or Copen basically quoting Mein Kampf whenever he starts ranting about adept impurity and degeneracy, and comparing them to vermin and cancer.
