Booted up the original FFT briefly while testing my retro setup, and it's still great. Looks really good on a CRT with component cables.

I only played T. It's a pretty standard strategy RPG, gameplay wise I don't think there's much different across games. I'd say just pick up whichever one has the most series you like.
