Yep! When a friend first showed me Disgaea around 2009/10 I didn't think much of it. It wasn't until 2016/17 when I actually picked up the games and they really clicked for me. After playing the main stories for a few titles I got more into it, and around 2019 I started trying to do the postgame/platinum for each entry in the series! Ironically D1 was the last title I completed for the challenge, and that was when I fell in love with Flonne! Still need to finish DD2 and D3, but Steam release is looking pretty unlikely at the moment...
