The bombs and missiles don't matter as much in combat unless you intend to carpet bomb and absolutely flatten a place which russia has been doing currently but it only helps the casualty rate so much.

Whats funny is the article is arguing against the ratio but he explains how the ratio actually originated from soviet battle data and has its origin in soviet battle doctrine. So even if the ratio doesn't exist in general, it almost certainly exists with respect to the russians. And the ratio is worse if you stick to soviet data because they absolutely do have a zero rush doctrine
