Can they though? It's a law of war that invading forces taking a higher rate of casualties. Even if we're generous and give Russia a 2:1 casualty ratio that means Russia would still need millions more. Ukraine has proven effective in holding off the Russians as long as they get some money and if trump didnt take away the gibs it's almost certain the next guy won't. By the way, as Russia gets closer to Kiev, the casualty ratio is bound to get worse. If they ever did get to kiev, where the zelensky regime has always kept an untouched bulk of their most expert military forces, the casualty rate would almost certainly be 10 Russians for every Ukraine. Europe would almost certainly send billions overnight. This war is gonna be a forever war as far as I can tell.
