You're just looking for plot holes that aren't there and i doubt you read the comic.
It's like this guy >>11523665 who's never read a book in his life, just repeating that "capeshit is bad because they bring characters back to life" meme, not understand what the actual meme is or criticism behind it is. He just says it's bad because everyone else says its bad, because he literally doesn't know.
I admit, i had to look up this comic to make sure, but i remembered the rough of it. No where does it say that Destro is keeping the body from Mindbender. The implication behind these pages is that Destro had to take the body to ensure Mindbender wouldn't just destroy it and used BATS to keep everything secret between them, to ensure Mindbender will do Destro's bidding.
So not only does this show that Mindbender would simply get rid of the body if it meant not getting in trouble (ie, it's not as important as readers make it out to be), but that Destro has been recording everything from the BATS, because's he's involved with their manufacturing and has more control over them than everyone thought.

Most writers admit this, hence a lot of them praising their assistants for keeping track of things for them. This doesn't mean they're bad writers though. A simple continuity error doesn't make their entire work bad.
Also, that post is about recent times. I mean, how did he google shit in the 80s and early 90s? He always talked about keeping track of the characters for Hasbro and that's why he was never fired despite his constant push back, because they relied so much on him.
