When Ngandou lost to Stipe because Stipe wrestle dominated him people blamed Nganbou
People said he was taught a lesson and had to improve. He was to blame
Which he did and then came back and knocked Stipe into the shadow realm™
But with DDP apparently it's not his fault and it's just assumed he can never overcome Chimaev's grappling. People instead defend him.
