Dems have always been the ones behind all major banning of porn and such through using law. If anything, republicans are just catching up to what the Dems already did. TV ratings and video games ratings is solely because of Democrats. And if you're wondering why Dems would do this despite being "sex positive" it's because it's not about what you can or cannot consume, but control for the sake of it. Btw, video games back then were mostly a non Dem activity. Even church goers played them. The Dems didn't like that. Dems were always the communist party, and wanted to control what you can consume.

Also, California has added porn banning just like the republican states, the biggest democrat state in the country. Same for Colorado. There goes your argument.
