Yeah I genuinely got goosebumps from that. Black eyes with blood-red pupils and scaaaary red/garbled text has been ruined for me thanks to 2010s internet horror, but Issei being passively possessed and suddenly turning into a puppet that kills you and then itself was scarier than most if not all of HF for me.
