Not sure if anyone will bother with the wall of text, but here we go.
Help a brokie out. Is Logitech G G402 Hyperion Fury as good as it gets for budget gaming mice for my case? (Also base price comparison for everything else listed below. Everything else is wired unless mentioned otherwise.)
I need something with at least 3 side buttons. (I know some of them here are CPI adjustment but programmable according to rtings)
I have been using wireless mice for years and I love not needing to bother with the cable (broke things by getting tangled with the cable in the past), but for gaming mice going wireless increases price noticeably compared to wired variants.
I also prefer something that is not loud. (Though used a loud mouse in the past, I am willing to compromise here if need be)
I tend to be rough with mice, so durability is important (Logitech stuff, while not great, tends to last at least a year with me. Not sure how other brands compare.)
It is also bigger and heavier than the mice I am using. I have small hands and I prefer smaller mice. Though I used a mice with comparable size and weight in the past and it wasn't that bad?
Thoughts? It goes for 25 bucks where I am. Anything better in this price range?
G502 Hero exists as an alternative, but doesn't seem worth 60 % higher price.
G305 Lightspeed also exists as a much more competitive alternative. Lighter and smaller than G402. Wireless to save me from cable BS. But has only 2 side buttons. Also clicking is louder than others listed before. Only 30% more expensive than G402.
Last Logitech option is G502X. Despite being on the bigger end it is relatively lightweight. Has a similar side button layout with programmable extras. Has free scroll mode on top (I know I need to compromise on tight budget but I miss having this). Unlike other mice listed before, it has optical switches, which should mean more durability I believe.(Worth nothing that side buttons only use mechanical.) Though it is on the louder end
