just checked it was in the middle of a rice field so not exactly something they could have done
the serow could have pulled it off but not without being covered with mud and ripping a line trough someone's field (not very polite!)

i know there is a onsa-focused manga that i can't find scans for but i think that's more "maintenance and mechanical stuff" more than adventures with the serow
