You always say it best. Though you didn't mention Vanille, and I would have tried to mention some Vanille in there. I feel like without her finally pushing through her unwillingness to sacrifice herself, there is no Etro intervention. Cocoon falls and the world perishes. But it's Vanille, the key to Fang's heart and the other half of the crystal union, who was the catalyst for Etro to spare them.

That's just my take.
