I don’t think the younger generations understand that working for blizzard or similar companies was the dream job for gamers/tech people in the late 90s and early 2000s The hours were known to be horrible and the pay wasn’t spectacular, but there were literally no women or minorities who worked there besides the super hard working Asian types.
