Thank you. Actually you bring up a good point about the half-tones. I think it comes from me using a grey background to reduce eyestrain and neglecting that in digital i can just add pure white on my sketches. I need to start seeing the grey background as my mid-tone, not my lightest value.

I'm also more accustomed to pencil sketching which can only get so dark. Bad habits bleed into my digital art.

Time to go back to the ball.
