I like when supernatural stuff mashes with sci-fi, but what I mean is that Alan Wake's aesthetic is deeply rooted in hauntings and ghost stories whereas 2 makes it SCP stuff thanks to Control's introduction. They bring it back towards the end but I don't like that Scratch is defeated once by the patented Control Power Cube Puzzle.

I'M PLAYING IT TOO
They won't go under, but they're definitely going to pull the plug on it after the November update. I doubt they'll do anything major in 2026 and just focus on Max Payne and Control 2 while keeping the servers up. Shame too because you can tell they want to make a Deep Rock like but don't have enough depth for it.
