I was really demotivated today but I managed to do some background optimization work for MareDare 2 despite that. The main thing I did was that I converted the project so that it now uses the Unity's Universal Render-pipeline rather than the standard pipeline. Work on MareDare 2 might slow down from time to time due to me also being a business man helping my family's business.

Go do what you want. I don't care what people draw on the internet. I just simply want to keep my company's reputation clean.

>For my part I'd been trying so hard to convey this to you and the others before and during the mare cult phenomenon, but I was sidelined to the point where I had no choice but to give up on the community completely because you (collectively) wouldn't even meaningfully engage with what I had to say.
Not to dig up old bones but my recollection differs significantly. You appeared intermittently, often misrepresented ongoing discussions (aligning with your admission of only reading ~15% of material, even pre-Mare Cult), and became frustrated when others declined to re-explain foundational concepts constantly. While I value the connection we had at first, as things got active I never found your interpretations or proposed textbook solutions credible or workable within the framework we were actively building.
>but socially I was reduced to the level of a mere bystander instead of a peer or a friend whose perspective matters, simply because I didn't fully buy into the fad.
Collaboration requires consistent, informed engagement. The project demanded deconstructing fundamentals, which is an approach fundamentally incompatible with applying rigid, pre-existing dogma without addressing prior critiques. Had you engaged with the remaining 85% of the discourse you acknowledged skipping, many misunderstandings could have been preempted. Regardless, that era is concluded.
>At the end of the day though, I'm glad lessons were learned and the overall wisdom gained seems to have been worth it for you and hopefully the others too. May it be of benefit to waifuists everywhere and all beings.
The insights gained were indeed valuable, hard-won through deep collective engagement. I’m certain they’ll prove useful.
>I'm looking forward to hearing about whatever you're up to, maybe we'll see each other at mare fair?
Not sure I have the time or budget. We'll see.
