In addition to the 550, 553, and P220 pictured, I also have a P210 and 510 but apparently milsurp doesn't count. I guess for that matter, just ignore the P220 since it is surplus.

I can tell you from experience, the Swiss P210 and 55x series are lightyears better than the American shit versions. The P220 I have doesn't feel materially different than older P226s I have handled, its literally the same only shittier since single stack.

The Sig 550 was once the best assault rifle ever made, but A, its not worth $10k+ US collectors market prices, and B, the AR15 aftermarket has eclipsed the Sig 55x so much, its really not worth paying 5x considering the MSRP in switzerland is about 4000 USD (same as their import price).

I think the biggest thing the 550 series still has going for it compared to an AR is the integrated bipod on the 550, which folds away really nicely and flush with the bottom of the handguard to not be cumbersome while holding the handguard with it folded, and the fact that they have folding stocks, which makes a bigger difference on a 553 since you can effectively halve the length of the gun when you fold it.
