That comment earlier was honestly spiteful for no reason other than let go off steam on this general constantly fighting... but if I were to give a genuine thought, I suppose one thing could be the Paper Mario fanbase itself not having too much faith in the remake to begin with. I mean, franchise saw three to five considered disasters in a row (one of which being kind of debatable), M&L saw two debatably underwhelming remakes and a disaster, so makes sense why sales kind of went on the hesitant side for PM.
Plus this >>537058523, I guess timeframe in which games are sold also affects sales, makes sense.
Still, these fights about which one is better/relevant/more important/whatever are kind of annoying. Both are great series in their own merits and it'd be nice to have them both being good and well-selling.
