Broadly speaking, is Seattle or the Silicon Valley area better to live in? I haven't visited California in over a decade but I recall it was decent. I wouldn't be living in downtown San Francisco which I've heard is a dump nowadays. I'm in Seattle at the moment. My father is a tech bro and he really wants me to tag along if he moves to California. I'm his only kid let alone family on the West Coast so he sorta expects me to move with him.
