I've always been doing some minor, hurrdurr-that'll-do-grade woodworking and now that I finally got my own house, I've got the space and a reason to upgrade.
I guess the tl;dr is pic related.
I've got a few pieces of furniture I need, that I'd like to /diy/, and I know that I can build a working 4 m long sideboard/cabinet thingy which I want to have to make use of the space under the roof side of my sleeping room, but besides "working", it should also look good, so buying a shitload of wood for a 4 m project to start with doesn't seem like the brightest idea.
I figured a proper workshop would also help in that 4 m endeavor and I need that anyways, even if I say "fuck it" and stay with hurrdurr-that'll-do-grade stuff, so I'm looking at building a work-bench to start with. I've got about 2x1m of space in my workshop to "park" it, so I want a compact, wheeled one, with a vise or two and a side and the top with dog holes and a bunch of small drawers below and a small cabinet (to play around with drawers and cabinets).
Now there's hundreds of

vids on youtube which I can use as a base for planning. Are there any things to consider that those (((influencers))) don't tend to influence you about?
