Use the Ballista and every turn end it will shoot. UPGRADE cards are permanent buffs for the rest of the battle. One of the upgrades cause the ballista to do more damage as other people's cards are used.
Basically she helps the others get cards and the others using their cards will buff her ballista.
If you get the epiphany that turns the Ballista into PIERCING Ballista she trivializes the final boss of Chapter 5 by fully ignoring shields and getting boosted damage with shields on. She is crazy good but you will end up making 3 different decks due to that.
