I got it on lock with this team, pretty much. Thinking of replacing Mika for Nia and see how it works.

The trick seems to be that you want to kill them before they kill you instead of trying to tank it out or stall them. Most enemies are set up to rape your ass if you let them live so ideally you don't want to do that.

I thought Elite encounters would be as good as they are in StS but it seems that the meta is getting random encounters instead, they're simply too insane, specially if you get the rare ones.

I think they need to buff Elite encounters unless they want to use them as "roadblockers" rather than "risky encounters for big rewards" like in SnS.
Maybe they'll add the non-canon final ending where you SLAY CHAOS like the Heart.

You know for how dry the writing is, I like that they bothered to flesh out Judas' backstory. It's easy as you can imagine to just make the church evil. They didn't just bother separating his faction, they also established properly he is an old veteran that got traumatized after a failed expedition and has since been obsessed with doing anything to destroy chaos. Once you know that you can skip certain encounters by just ending turn (Like the big scythe oni boss) you can get the reroll process down to like 15-20 mins.

Reroll targets are whoever you like most honestly. Meta wise Khalipe and Hugo are super strong but for a game like this I think it's honestly much more preferable to just go for who you think is fun to play.
