If you have resourceful retriever and a good gun, nah. Just a bit boring.
Do what I do:
Phase 1 as usual
Grab Thermia Canister from Phase 1 with you into Phase 2
Spawn a Necramech or Bike or mark a spot near the spider and let those be your guide from here on out.
Spend the next 5 to 10 minutes gathering Thermia Canisters and piling them up near your chosen marker.
Once you have like 15 or 20 or so, just start tossing and shooting your fat hot loads on her. And then go do the animation, shoot the newly made weak point.
Repeat 2 more times.

Don't worry about the spiderlings after you get the canisters, from my experience Exploiter seems to work off of a hidden stack mechanic, so if you cover her in your fat smatterings quickly enough even at a casual pace she'll be open to the animation bit again so you can repeat it.
It's boring, but better than Profit Taker on every front. If you doubt my words, look at my Operator and tell me this greasy fuck doesn't know what he's sweating about. I just hope DE doesn't fix this or get wise about it.
