>I said casuals really love their hero shit which is absolutely true.
This observation has no relevancy to the crunchy game you're picking on, so why bring that up at all? Just say you hate avatar based games, that would be easier to convey your preferences to the rest of the thread.

>are there games that aren't hero or anime waifu based?
Yes, many, almost too many to count. You had an OP last thread bringing Godzilla to the forefront which no one engaged with, and it introduced the memory gauge to card games that's quite intuitive. There's a hiking game that the "hero and anime waifus" are seriously removed from, focusing on nature and discovery, but your sticking point over skincolor prevents that from being a consideration. What about Gudnak with it's rank and file soldier gameplay and condensed deck building experience? There's also RAGE where you command an elite team of spiritual werewolves going up against twisted demons plaguing the everyday life of humans. How about EVE Online, a game about controlling a mega corporation that colonizes the stars and commands territories to war? Or Star Trek for that matter, collecting a unique set of crew memebers each with knowledge specialties and hopping aboard space craft that dart across planets that allow them to undertake missions in order to maintain peace in the cosmos.

There's like a fucking buttload of non-hero non-waifu games. Use your words, what are you wanting out of a card game? I could sit here and list games that meet your unspecified criteria for hours if you so choose.
