It's been what, a few weeks since we've had a thread now? I was hoping we'd get another one going, but we needed time for the spics to lose interest. That's what killed us originally. All I can say is, I haven't stopped slithering. I haven't stopped listening to Roy's album. I'm still doing it tomorrow. I'm roydeeming the jayful on a daily basis, thread or no thread.
If you want my opinion, as the world's biggest convert, then I maintain what I said from the very beginning: Roy was a real guy, but for whatever reason, the facts surrounding his life have been perverted by Google's AI. Roy most certainly existed, but I don't believe for one second that all of these alleged 80-something year old boomers are responding to YouTube videos in 2025 with "Knew him, loved him, met him many times, a rare talent, shame about his demons..." ad fucking nauseum. No way, man.
Why was this guy targeted for this kind of manipulation? Frankly, I don't think he was. I think it was easier to see fake information being produced in real-time because he was a no-name until we started memeing him. The reality is that tons of shit you see on YouTube/Google is probably just as fake, but it's harder to decipher because it's "mainstream".
Long story short, Roy was real, but the truth of his life is shrouded in obscurity.
